إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلَائِکَتَهُ یُصَلُّونَ عَلَى النَّبِیِّ ۚ یَا أَیُّهَا الَّذِینَ آمَنُوا صَلُّوا عَلَیْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِیمًا
خدا و فرشتگانش بر (روان پاک) این پیغمبر صلوات و درود می‌فرستند شما هم ای اهل ایمان، بر او صلوات و درود بفرستید و با تعظیم و اجلال بر او سلام گویید و تسلیم فرمان او شوید. (سوره احزاب، 56).
" اگر میزان تأثیر این مرد بزرگ را در مردم بسنجیم، باید بگوییم که حضرت محمد (ص) از بزرگترین بزرگان تاریخ انسانی است. وی در صدد بود سطح معلومات و اخلاق قومی را که از فرط گرمای هوا و خشکی صحرا به تاریکی توحش افتاده بودند اوج دهد. در این زمینه توفیقی یافت که از توفیقات تمام مصلحان جهان بیش‌تر بود. کمتر کسی را جز او می‌توان یافت که همه آرزوهای خود را در راه دین انجام داده باشد؛ زیرا به دین اعتقاد داشت. از قبایل بت‌پرست و پراکنده در صحرا، امتی واحد به وجود آورد. برتر و بالاتر از دین یهود و دین مسیح و دین قدیم عربستان، آیینی ساده و دینی روشن و نیرومند با معنویاتی که اساس آن شجاعت و مناعت قومی بود پدید آورد که در طی یک نسل در یکصد معرکه نظامی پیروز شد و در مدت یک قرن امپراطوری عظیم و پهناوری به وجود آورد و در روزگار ما نیروی مهمی است که بر یک نیمه جهان نفوذ دارد."[1]
"محمد (ص) بی‌گمان مردی بسیار بزرگ بود و مردان بزرگی نیز در دامن فضل و کمال خود پرورش داد. قانون‌گذاری خردمند، جهان‌گشایی توانا، فرمان‌روایی دادگستر و پیامبری پرهیزگار بود و بزرگترین انقلاب روی زمین را پدید آورد."[2]
لذا به مناسبت میلاد پیامبر گرامی اسلام حضرت محمد (ص) و هفته وحدت، فهرست توصیفی کتابهای چاپی به زبان‌های خارجی در کتابخانه ایرانشناسی مجلس شورای اسلامی با موضوع حضرت محمد(ص) جهت اطلاع و دستیابی پژوهش‌گران محترم معرفی می‌گردد.
